Farming this ancient land

At the end of a quiet country lane, away from the bustle of daily life, lies a family-run farm called the Domaine de Gerbaud. As old maps attest, the name Gerbaud has long been associated with this ancient agricultural area. 

 

After an extensive search, the current owners found this piece of paradise steeped in a sense of continuity and acquired it in 2012. Improvements have been made to the estate that includes an old fortified stone farmhouse which reflects the area’s conflicted history. A dry-climate Mediterranean-style garden has also been built. 

 

Every day, season and year bring something new. As owners we contribute interests in law, arts, heritage and music to the property. Apart from the ongoing farming activities, we are planning future entertainments on the farm. We wish to share the beauty of the location, the enjoyment of excellent cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, the as yet curiously underrated but quality Luberon wines and tasty regional food produce with others on special occasions.
